Nutrition Game Fun!

By:  Carleton Rivers, RD

You have to try this really fun nutrition game that I found while searching the Internet the other day. I know what you’re thinking, “How can a nutrition game be fun?” Well it is! What you do is drag different meal options and physical activities for the day into your rocket ship fuel tank. The fuel tank is divided into different components such as fruits, vegetables, protein, grains, and dairy. The game also gives you a calorie amount that you need to meet to be able to blast off. Once you have filled up each section of the tank and met your calorie needs, you will be able to shoot to Planet Power! I have listed the website below so you can go try it out right now. Once you have met your fuel tank needs, print out a copy of your meal and exercise plan, try to follow it the next day and see if you have enough fuel to reach Planet Power.
